Cake Push Pops

It’s been a while since my last post as I have just been so busy! I’ve been on holiday, then I have been so busy at work and completing a few cake orders that I just haven’t had the time to blog.

Today, however, I have had a nice lazy day as it’s my birthday and decided that doing chores and such is not how I want to spend my day. I decided today that I would have a little play around with some bits I recently ordered from The Cake Decorating Company

I ordered a sample pack of cake push-up containers and filled them with leftover cake, jam and buttercream to make these delights:

I couldn’t just leave them plain though so I stuck some stickers on the front

and couldn’t resist a few sprinkles on the top

I simply cut out the circles from the cake using the containers and layered them up with the buttercream and jam.

There are so many flavour combinations that you can create, here I made them using chocolate brownies with Oreo buttercream and vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. They would look fab with different flavoured sponges especially red velvet and all different colours of buttercreams as you can see all the layers!

They are perfect for parties or picnics as you can re-seal them with the lids and enjoy your own little layer cake!

If you don’t want to make them yourself you can order today from Cakey Goodness using the contact form.

£2.00 per push pop.
